    Windows Live Messenger

I am running Win7 x64 RTM. I have been having a problem with my messenger just randomly crashing.
I was wondering if there was a fix, or even if anyone else was having this problem?

I have tried running in compatibility mode of xr, xp sp1-3, vista and vispa sp1-2.

Have you updated Messenger to the latest version, available just a few days ago?

It is a problem with bit-defenders encryption.
I turned it off. rebooted my system.
    Not a problem sense.

    Thank you all

    Edit:

    I thought that fixed it.
Come to find out that wast the solution.
I need to rename the imguimsn.dll
But it keeps saying i need administrator permissions.
Thing is im the domain admin and the local admin on the machine.
    Any ideas?

FWIW, I had an issue with my MSN but it wasn't that it was crashing, just that I couldn't establish voice communication with anyone. The issue turned out to be Trend Micro. Once it's installed I had to disable the Trend Proxy service and everything worked fine.
