    Installer Error

I'm trying to re-install "PCPEInstaller" monitoring software for my UPS.
Somehow my previous installation got corrupted. I was able to get it uninstalled with CCleaner. However, when I go to re-install it, I only get the option to remove, so I do. And I end up with the attached error.

I believe Win 7 monitors all that, avoiding use of the software? How would I see all that information to check the settings. However, the previous install needs to be removed. Any ideas on how and avoid that error?

    Thanks all :)

I would d/l Revo Uninstaller Free and see if it can find and remove the program. In the past I would recommend the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility, but it has an issue with files on Windows 7.

       Note
Important The Windows Installer Cleanup utility (MSICUU2.exe) that was previously referred to in this article was discontinued. Although the Windows Installer Cleanup utility resolved some installation problems, it sometimes damaged other components that were installed on the computer. Because of this, the tool was removed from the Microsoft Download Center.

You can look through the Power Options

    Power Plan Settings - Change

There was discussion in this thread

Is APC PowerChute necessary with Win7?
