Karl, I had a hack of a time getting autorun downloaded. A problem with the download since I have the other file working as well and then a problem with winzip.

But have autorun up and running now. - jb

The autoruns.exe is in the winzip folder, not in the regular programs folder - when I right click on it it does not give me the option to run as admin.

If I do a search for it, it does not come up.

I can click on it and open the program and it came up with a bunch of files. I then found "run as admin" under the file menu and when I clicked on it the program came back up with all the menu items at the top but no files under it.

What do I do to get the info you want? - jb

Be sure and actually extract the files from the .zip file.

What program are you using to unzip?

Carl, I used Winzip and it unzips into its own folder. There is no run as admin when I right click. Closed and open the program again and it comes up with the menus but no files listed as it did the first time. - jb

OK - I now have all the files back up - most are black, some yellow and some Lexmark are pink.

I am logged in as admin on the computer.

    Jeb,
That tells me that the files aren't actually being extracted.

I haven't used WinZip in quite awhile and in fact removed same from my computer.

If you right-click on the .ZIP file, is there an option that says "Extract all ...."? If yes, then use that. That is Windows own unzipper.

I think I confused you - the autorun program is up and running - the files I mentioned are the ones in the autorun window, not the winzip window.

    Run Autoruns as administrator, then:
on the top menu bar you will see File
Click on FILE | choose SAVE | click on the SAVE button

You will now have a file called autoruns.arn in your Documents folder.

You can now exit from Autoruns.

    Zip up Autoruns.ARN and upload.

Trying to sort through a problem with the CD - on the computer I zipped and copied to it shows the file but when I put it in this computer to send it does not show it.

    Will try a new disc.

Carl, sorry this is taking so long - this old laptop has about a .5 chip in it and I only get 2 bars on my air card so this is taking a very, very long time.

But here it is - I hope - jb
