Windows live bugg

    Windows live bugg


    Windows Live Messenger appears as two applications in the taskbar and its very annoying...

    i have tried to uninstall but the uninstalller keep freezing up and not responding and saying close program
    i downloaded the latest windows live and tried to install it but in the middle of installation also it freezes and then roll it all back
    any help would be very useful folks

    Its done that ever since the beta of Windows 7, I'm not so sure its a bug.

    EDIT: One of the taskbar WLM objects is your account you are logged into, the other one is just your contact list.

    Thanks nova.. That's why I didn see it. /palmface.

    However, if you run it in Vista compatibility mode it will show up as one icon and minimize to your windows notification area.
