Ninotech Pathcopy - INF file install

    Hello,

I'm running the Windows 7 RC and I tried to install Ninotech Pathcopy 4, which is basically a few DLL files and an INF file. To install, you right;click the INF file and choose "Install" from the context menu. I did this, but I do not see the "Copy Path" submenu entry on right-click context menus of files viewed in the Explorer windows. It DOES show up in the Programs list (add/remove).

I tried to install from the temp directory, then I tried from within Downloads and also Documents, thinking it might not allow installs from the temp directory, but it still doesn't put the entry in the context menu like it should.

Does anyone know how to make the INF install work in Windows 7?

    Thanks,
    Michael

Alas, one of my favorite toolsl does not work in 64 bit OS nor Windows 7.

Try this one: LopeSoft Website FileMenu Tools

Also, hold SHIFT + Right Click to reveal Copy Path (Windows native).

Thanks, Antman. Forgot to mention my Windows 7 RC is 64-bit as well, though it doesn't matter if Pathcopy will not work in either. Yes, I'm quite sad about this as well...been taking Pathcopy with me to every computer for many years.

I didn't know that SHIFT + Right Click has a "Copy as path" function. That may suffice for my occasional use of it. Though I still may end up installing FileMenu Tools...I do like tidiness in my context menus!

    Thanks again.

PathCopy works fine on Win7 23-bit.
