What do you want to do?

On the first screen select Normal Mode,

on the Next Menu select Paragon Partition manager .

You will get a window with all the functions of the program . Take it from there.

If it all looks completed, to remove the recovery menu, rt click the DISK ( not a partition) and select Update MBR.
ok, i followed these steps. i chose Partition Tools and on the next screen it showed the PM symbol and at the bottom it said "Universal file system driver initialization", but it stayed on that screen for a half hour and did nothing else.

It can't find the partition table.

Did you make a backup of your drive beforehand , like it recommends?

    Smart.

Before you do that , PW might sort it out easier - looks at things a different way - give it a try :

    Free Download Partition Wizard

You're welcome - glad it worked for you.

Sometimes one works when the other doesn't and vice versa - still, now you have both.

    Hi SIW2.

I downloaded Paragon Backup & Recovery 10 Free Edition and it may have caused some problems.
I have made a backup on an external drive (an arc. file).
When I came to reboot at a later time I got a black screen and then some kind of disk error. Unfortunately I was just leaving for work so I just did a hard shutdown.
Today when I powered up I got a repair/recovery boot. I did that and it seems to have taken me back before I installed Paragon.
I've re-installed and rebooted and it seems fine now but something went wrong. Of course it may not be Paragon but I'll report again if I have further issues. Hope it works because it's a neat piece of software for free.

    Cheers, John
    PS. I'm using the x64 version on W7 x64

    Thanks John,

No idea what that may be. I have heard of a phantom pregnancy - but a phantom installation ? LOL
