Probablt done before but I found this really very helpful as my machine is failing to hold BIOS settings and this is so quick to find out what version without having to go to the BIOS.

Yeah Guy it only works on Intel boards and a I had three different references to the board I was working on for the BIOS update I found it handy to pick the right one:)
