    Net Framework v2.0.50727 issues

I have Windows 7 Ultimate running 64 bit. The program causing issues is not new. It worked OK until yesterday. I have Roxio Creator 11 Pro installed and it will let me load individual parts of the program to use but when I try to open the full version I get the following:-
C Windows Microsoft Net Framework v2.0.50727 cvtres.exe cannot start or run due to incompatibility with 64 bit versions of windows. PLease contact the software vendor to ask if a 64 bit Windows cojmpatible version is available.
I have Microsoft.NET Framework 4 Client Profile showing in my Programs and Features.
I have uninstalled Roxio and reinstalled it but get the same message on my screen which will not disappear until I close the Roxio program.
    Can anyone please help me?

    Hi,

Can you uninstall again the Roxio Creator 11 Pro using iObit Uninstaller this is a free tool software that can erase up to the registry of Roxio then install again.

Just download the software and no need to install you can RUN it by clicking.

You can read the details from their site.

Follow up: Use CCleaner too to clear everything after you have uninstall the Roxio then restart before installation.

I appreciate your trying to help me. But I've had a computer for many years going through Windows 98, XP, Vista and now Windows 7. I do know how to do system restores and also system protection is on. I have already tried it and there were no restore points showing. I've since reinstalled office 2010. I've decided to leave Roxio off my computer as I've tried to reinstall it again and it has caused me numerous issues. I now have the situation where Internet Explorer 9 will not load in a new tab when I click on a link on a web page. I have to copy the links shorcut, open a new home page and then paste the link into the new tab. I have the pop up blocker turned off. I don't know what to do. I've contacted Microsoft support here in Australia and are waiting for them to call me back tomorrow, that's if they do.
