Why? This died back in February and I'm on topic. Are you saying I'm guilty of high jacking this thread? If so, sorry friend that wasn't my intent. I thought it was good manners and etiquette to do a search, find an appropriate thread topic and either join the query or contribute a solution. Certainly not to clutter a sub-forum with a bunch of similar threads asking basically the same questions.

Eyes are not working for me at the moment, did not see that the thread was back in February.
I'm not saying that you are jacking this thread. If you start your own thread, 3 times more better of other users to communicate with you. Eventually, staff members or users will ask you to start your own thread.

This is what other people get from staff members:

When you post in another thread your post can be missed.
You should start a new thread in the ............. forum.

Each person need to start his own thread. Here is a link to start a thread in the ........... section

ah,... ok! I think I understand what you're saying. In other parts of this forum globe, you get yelled at for starting new threads that are, in all intents and purposes, exact or near exact copies of 20 other threads already floating around in the forum's borders. Many are quick to scream at you, shouting: "Use your search engine,... the question has already been asked"! I've never posted here before and assumed forum etiquette was universal. My apologies!

Still, I'm trying to figure out how to get iTunes working, and none of these solutions are working for me.

    Agree with DeanP.

    Start a new thread please.

Fill in your system specs. How to here. https://www.sevenforums.com/256049-post4.html

You say you did. Is that an HP Netbook? How about a version/ Pavillion etc. and model number at least.

Adding on to an almost year old thread will most likely get ignored.
I saw the posting by accident.

No harm but you will get quicker help.

No one is going to yell at you. Dredging up old threads with no answers hasn't helped.
Maybe trying our etiquette will help.

If someone yells at you just click the report button in the top right corner of the post.
The mods will take care of the issue. Trust me.

Wow,... thanks MIke. I was just going through 7's info window to get all the numbers and info on my laptop. Thought it prolly a good idea to fill in the spec stuff before I started a the thread. Still a good idea I guess to complete the task, so gimme a second to update my profile with all the necessary info.

No problem. Model name and number definitely will be a good idea for this time and future reference.

I don't know when someone will get to you.
If nothing this evening check back later or in the morning. We are all volunteer and have people in and out 24/7.
Your answer might not come until 4 in the morning.
I'll check on the thread in the morning also.

If you don't know the info for your model (HDD, CPU, RAM, etc...) leave the model number and brand, and me or mike will check for you.

If your problem is exactly the same problem as the OP's problem, then it's perfectly fine to post in an existing thread. Although like said, it will probably get overlooked.

If it's different problem but using the same software for instance, then like was stated just make a new thread.

No, don't do that. Just report the post.

Something may not seem to get resolved in the open, but every report is reviewed by all us staff and action is taken as deemed necessary.
