    I got similar problems with builods 7000, 7100, and RTM versions... my itunes almost always freeze in syncing my iphone... tried to delete my old backup, restart the iphone, etc...
    I am seeing the same issue on my system, the issue is sporadic!
    My install of version 9 was sucessful, how ever be aware that ITunes is cpu intensive and does stress a system. After reviewing your system stats you will have issues should you decide to purchase videos.
    your cpu will make your system suseptable to slowdown and shake.

    Hey guys, I've looked around this site to see if I could find anything to help me with this, but nothing has worked. :/

    I've downloaded iTunes, but it won't even setup and install all the way, sometimes, if it even wants to install at all.

    I got it to install ONCE, but every time I clicked on the icon to run it, it wouldn't do anything. I've uninstalled iTunes & quick time, ran Revo Uninstaller (Which keeps freezing on me, much like a lot of things on Windows 7 for me.), and did all I could find to help solve this problem, but nothing has worked. I just really, really want my iTunes. ;-;

    I'm running on Windows 7 Ultimate build 7600, 32-bit.

    Any suggestions on what I should do?

    EDIT: I finally got it to install, but it's still refusing to start up. :/
    this is the exact problem i had. just fixed it with disk check.

    iTunes 9.0.1.8 open...but not?

    Hello Miami, you are posting many issues on multiple threads.
    I suggest that you start a single thread and state your issue clearly.
    To trouble shoot fill out your system specs, 32 bit or 64 bit, the version of Itunes etc.

    Got here by pounding Google. I'm also having trouble with iTunes, but my drama is just a little different. After installing iTunes, I get this message on launch: "The folder "iTunes" is on a locked disk or you do not have write permissions for this folder." This problem just started this evening, and I'm stumped. About a week ago, I run an automatic update using the Apple updater, and have used iTunes several times after the update with no problems.

    Any help would be helpful. Thanks!
