Hello, Is it better to have all such programs installed in the Program Files on Drive C, does the installation being there have any positive effect on the program? Or will the program be the same if I were to install it onto my second SSD?
There is no performance effect, but from an organizational and restore perspective
there are positive effects to installing to the default Win system folders.
The most simple practice is to install in the Win system program folders.
If you image your system drive and do a restore, everything you've installed will continue to work as they did when you took the image.
Very large apps like games may be an exception, and might be handled differently.
