I agree but still I'd use Zune 4.0 on OS X if MS would make a version.

Does it look like I have a mac? Come on DNG.

Go down to the bottom left of the link page and click on "Get itunes for Macintosh". It's there.

A couple of myths I'll nullify..

itunes x64 isn't true 64 bit, only the installer is.

If you're just using itunes for an ipod or by itself, You can safely uninstall in programs and features without problems running itunes on Windows..

    Apple Mobile Device Support
    Apple Software Update
    Bonjour

    Don't uninstall

    Quicktime or
    Apple Application Support

After you uninstall those, if you run itunes, it will tell you about bonjour, just click ok, and it won't ever pop up again.

Blah, I hate having that program on my system, I think I'll stick with Winamp for now.
Me too, if it wasn't for my iphone, I'd never touch it. Have you tried 'Aimp2' as a winamp alternative?

I just did the update to 9.0 and uninstalled the 3 above. After launching iTunes I have an issue once I connect my iPhone to the comp. I get the following message:

"This iPhone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install the 64-bit version of iTunes."

Odd, as my iphone was working fine with iTunes before the update.
