    Cannot find Sticky Notes Options


    Hey everyone.

    I for some reason cannot find options or tools under the win7 Sticky Notes to change program and note settings. When I open sticky notes it just opens a sticky note on the desktop where I can add another or delete the one I have open. If I right-click on the sticky note all I get are the different color choices and the normal cut, copy, paste, delete, and select all. Could this be because I do not have admin rights on the laptop because it's my company laptop?

    Hello Sean, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    Unfortunately, that's all there is to Sticky Notes.
    For more options, you might give the free program Stickies and/or 7 Sticky Notes a try to see if one may work better. :)

All the default programs that come with windows are gone. I have to search for mspaint to find paint, and I have to do Windows + R C:\Windows\System32\StikyNot.exe to open sticky notes.. can someone help me out so I can find them through the windows search?

Recently updated from Vista to 7 on 2 machines (both Lenovo tablet PC's). I had several pre-existing sticky notes and use the program often. When I try to launch sticky notes in 7, I get a "corrupt metadata" error message. Same thing on both machines. Need suggestions for a fix. Thanks.
