error getting file security when installing itunes

Hi,

I went to install the newest itunes last night, and during the instalation I got the message "error getting file security". I right clicked the installation file and ran as administrator, and have my UAC all the way down.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I was looking at that too last night. New version 9.0... A little bing'ing points to quicktime as the problem. Can you do custom and not install quicktime only itunes?

Good morning Edicus, welcome to Windows 7 forum.
We suggest it would be helpful if you fill out your system specs in more detail. Also are you using Vista as your operating system?
At first look at your issue you have an incomplete install so you will need to follow a few simple steps.

Let us know your specs and then we can proceed.

error getting file security

I had this problem and just fixed it today. All you have to do is move the files in the folder that you are getting the error in. I moved all the files that were in the folder where the error occurred to the desktop. I installed itunes with no problem after words. The files that i moved to the desktop was recreated in the folder by itunes.

I hope this helps
