    Corrupted Icons? (maybe)

Not sure if this is the right section, but it's related to programs in a way so I think it is.

Anyways, there's a problem with some of my icons, my Taskbar mainly, 2 icons have gone to some generic icon, but both were their correct icons the other day, any fix for it?

If the icons still work; right click on them and select properties and then select change icon and pick one. The question really is what changed them. Is every thing else computer wise okay.

The icons do work, they are only on the taskbar and a right click only brings up the option to unpin the program from the taskbar or open the program. Everything else is A-Okay, I keep my system in top shape.

The only thing I can think of is putting two new icon on the desktop and if those two are correct pin those two to the Taskbar and unpin the bad ones. Are you using a make my desktop pretty programs. Why did they change?

I don't use any "Desktop Enhancement" programs because I know 99.9% of those are bad news.
For example, when I install a program and the icon on my desktop has a long name, I change it to an abbreviation to shorten the name, the icon will then change to the one seen in my original post, I usually change Malwarebyte's to "MBAM" for example.
Does windows 7 have an icon cashe that can be flushed or deleted to fix a problem such as this?
