Java Error "Cannot Copy to the Clipboard"

I have been having an error with Java lately and I think this issue is the reason for the many Java related issues I've been having. I'm hoping someone here has an effective fix, either it be reinstalling Java entirely or modifying a file.

    The error is as follows:
Cannot copy to the clipboard: java.security.AccessControlException , access denied ("java.awt.AWTPermission" "accessClipboard")

    Anything?

EDIT: Tried full reinstall of both 32 and 64 bit versions, it did not fix the problem at all.

EDIT 2: Well after not wanting to edit the file without the help of someone who knows what they are doing, I searched the web and edited the java.policy file with a line that re-enables copy-pasting again within Java. And it seems to have worked.
Does anyone know why copy-paste was disabled in Java 7 Update 5?

    This is what I did:
