PeerBlock Now Has a Signed Driver

PeerBlock is a fork of the popular Peer Guardian 2 software. Well the folks that are developing it have just received a legally signed driver for PeerBlock which means that it will run on Windows Vista and Windows 7 (32 & 64 bit) without the problems that were plaguing Peer Guardian 2.

You can check it out at PeerBlock Development

There are differing opinions on whether it works or not. It definitely retards the enemies attempt to monitor your p2p sessions.

This pdf was posted at the PeerBlock forum. It's from the University of California Department of Computer Science and Engineering. It's an interesting read that might shine some light on how secure p2p blocking software really is.
