    Windows can't update, disabled by admin...:(


    Hi!
    My problem is that i can't update windows . Every time that i try to, it just says "Windows update cannot currently check for updates, because updates on this computer are controlled by your system administrator" now i am the systems administrator. I recently had a virus (it's cleaned out now) but i don't know how to reactivate it...
    Btw, the services is running if i check services.

    Greatful for any help!

    What virus did you have? It doesn't sound like it's been totally cleaned up.

    You are probably right! windows keeps switching between my theme and default...
    I'm changing from avast to kaspersky now, cause avast can't find anything...

Admin Account Disabled By Default
in Installation & Setup

Just loaded 7 and the administrator account is disabled by default. Now since the only account available is a guest account, how do I get logged in as the administrator? How do I make it active with no admin rights?
