I spent hours making a new logo for my mothers travel agency. After trying to get back into the .psd file to edit I find this appcrash holding me back. Photoshop works fine if I want to create another file but I need to access this .psd. Please help!

Windows 10 Pro X64

Lots of Google hits for this: APPCRASH Photoshop CS3 MMXCore.8BX c0000005

The first link I got back: Adobe Community: Photoshop has stopped working indicates a 3rd Party Plugin was causing the problem. Others suggested doing a full install over the existing Photoshop install. One of the links in that thread tells you how to check for plugins.
