WLE 2012 and Movie Maker

    Well, from looking at the specs at the link below, your Intel HD Arrandale chip meets the minimum requirements.

    Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD - Notebookcheck.net Tech

    I'm thinking it may be the graphics driver. Do you have the latest version installed?

    I don't know how to findout nor how to update the graphic driver.

    I think I'll just go and reinstall the 6.0 version.

    Good idea. Doesn't seem the graphics chip or it's drivers supports the newer version.

    6.0 reinstalled. No problem.

    Why is it that Photo Gallery, Messager and Windows Live Mial all got updated but not Movie Maker ?

    Weird.

    I am marking this thread since I have given up.

    I'd have to say because of the error you got below mate. It doesn't meet the requirements for Movie Maker, but did for the other programs.
