Hello help meh and welcome to Seven Forums.

Did you check in control panel > programs and features to see if Java is listed? You can double-check this by looking in start menu > all programs. And you can use the start menu search box to look for Java. If you still can't find Java it probably wasn't installed on your computer no matter how many times you tried.

If it hasn't been installed it could be because your firewall blocked the installation. Java recommends temporarily disable the firewall.

It is recommended, before you proceed with online installation you may want to disable your Internet firewall. In some cases the default firewall settings are set to reject all automatic or online installations such as the Java online installation.

The source also provides instructions for manually downloading and installing Java, including necessary links.

If Java WAS installed you might want to uninstall it so your machine has a clean platform to work with. Even if you can't find Java it wouldn't hurt to use JavaRa to look for and remove any left over bits and pieces that could prevent a clean install.

There are 2 versions of Java. The 32bit version installs in Program Files (x86) and the 64bit installs in Program Files. You can download both version from this site, but don't know if that will fix your problem. You can have both versions on the same system.
