Windows 7: cant install most software

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
cant install most software

first i tried updating itunes, it couldnt (got error) so i ran manual and i got this error
i clicked ignore on all of these and the install finished. than i tried updating skype to 5.8, couldnt automatically (the rest of that story isnt needed). i than updating my ati drivers and i think 2 or 3 of the drivers couldnt install and im SURE its that problem with programs not being able to write to the registry. im on built in administrator (thats my main account, i dont use normal user account) so i dont see why it isnt working. registry must be blocking something, shut off all security soft but still got error although all of this stuff mentioned except ati drivers is fixed, i want to know how to fix this problem with the registry blocking stuff. thanks

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

and then

Disk Check

The Disk Check will scan for any bad sectors, and will attempt to fix any bad soft sectors, whereas, the System File Checker will scan and attempt to repair any corrupted files. The bad sectors on the hard-drive can stop new data being written, and by using the System File Checker any problems with the OS itself can be checked.

Hope this helps,
