Any software for using a fingerprint scanner?

I don't mean using it to log in -- I mean just using it to view fingerprints.

My laptop has one of those built-in fingerprint scanners. I used to use it to log in, but I upgraded to Windows 7 once it came out and didn't bother to find the driver. I don't really want to use it to log in, but if I can use it to scan my fingerprints and just see what they look like, it might be kind of cool.

Anyone know of any programs that would let me do this?

I tried Googling, but couldn't find anything that was what I was looking for. And the link you sent me does work, but it only allows me to add my fingerprints for use in logging in -- I can't actually view them. That's probably caused by crappy fingerprint software, but still.

Well I think this might be the nearest thing to what you want to do.
Free FingerPrint Imaging Software | Free Science & Engineering software downloads at SourceForge.net < be aware I haven't used this so make sure the security is up to date on your machine.

Now I know this will sound pretty daft but failing that how about getting some of that clear packing tape and lightly dust your finger/s with some black (fine) powder and press onto the tape - take picture of it and save in My Pics.
