    mozy worx on W7

That's good to know, although it is too late for me, as I'm already a pro user. I did get it to work. I just had to click "next" and not worry about the bandwidth test. Worx fah-een!

Mozy seems to cause a whole bunch of other things to break for me, including MS Office. At first I thought it was my anti-virus, but installing things one at a time led to mozy.

    RE: Mozy breaking Office

Hmm... how does it break Office? What issues are you experiencing? Mine seems fine... I'm running latest Mozy and latest Office (2007).

Mozy itself does't work perfectly, but the issues it has are limited to status reporting. When you install it says you don't have enough bandwidth, but if you just continue past it, it installs and works fine. During backups it usually doesn't report the bandwidth usage. None of which as any effect, that it is, it does actually work. My desktop gadget tells me the amount of bandwidth being taken up, and the amount left to back up drops every time I reboot. I do wish Mozy would work out those bugs though, it just doesn't look good to those who are just trying out Mozy.

I don't have any bandwitdth problems. But after I install it, any Office program opens and then just hangs and says Not Responding. It was only after days of installing and uninstalling various programs, and lots of system restoring did I discover that it was Mozy doing this. I didn't even expect it at all.

That's really strange. You're using the latest Mozy Home backup, right? What version of Office?
