Apps crash with event ID 1000, mostly exception code 0xc0000374

Hi. First time posting. I've got a new PC, Windows 7 Home Premium x64. I have installed Adobe CS6 on it. Illustrator crashes at least once/day, and Microsoft Outlook 2003 crashes a few times/week also. Both list Event ID 1000.

I have uninstalled and re-installed both with no luck. There is seemingly no pattern to the crashes, sometimes occur while printing, saving, importing objects and sometimes while that program is sitting in the background.

Here is the error log for two of the crashes:

Faulting application name: Illustrator.exe, version: 16.0.2.682, time stamp: 0x5056c659
Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6.1.7601.17725, time stamp: 0x4ec4aa8e

    Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll

Faulting application name: OUTLOOK.EXE, version: 11.0.5510.0, time stamp: 0x3f1380f0
Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6.1.7601.17725, time stamp: 0x4ec49b8f
    Exception code: 0xc0000264
    Fault offset: 0x000a2495
    Faulting process id: 0xe60

    Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\OUTLOOK.EXE
    Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ntdll.dll
    Report Id: 03a5ecbc-3fe9-11e2-8347-e06995e36c7a

Since I can't recreate the problem it's driving me crazy trying to figure it out. Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks.
