Open Source CD Music Ripper?

Anybody know of a good, stable open source program to use to rip music from CDs to your hard drive?

Have you tried Windows Media Player? it's really nice and can convert into many formats (MP3, ACC, WMA)

Well, it is ages since I did any audio CD ripping.

The best audio CD rippers, IMO, are

1. Exact Audio Copy - with best error correction that your money can buy, for free :).

2. CDex - the next best and almost as good as EAC.

No need to look any farther. The rippers dished out with most players are more of a convenience for those not so finicky about the rip quality.
