Frank Mango you don't perchance run Kaspersky do you? If so, see two threads up.

Frank Mango, have you updated to the latest version? The first version of flash CS4 has some known bugs.

    Flash not working properly

Yes I have installed all the flash updates.
AVG is my anti virus software.
Thanks for your questions......I'm thinking I might attempt to duel boot with windows XP(service pack 2) and run the CS4 programmes from there, as that is the suggested compatability setting????
I don't know very much about this stuff..is this a bad idea?

First try to remove the AV and see if it works! Not only stop it, but remove it completly!

Stop your internet connection when your are unprotected.

    master collection quries

Hello i'm currently a student at a college studying games development and because of this its impossible to afford software without going bankrupt and have copies of such software; flash cs4, photoshop cs4 and 3ds max so my copies arn't legitimate so please don't ignore because of this.

My questions is how to you know what windows rc are you of windows 7 64 bit and by master collection do you mean the 30 day trial master collection DVD.

As for kasapersky 2010, i've tried turning all of it off and have had no good results please get back to me.

type msconfig32 in ->start->execute, you will see sth like windows 7 version 6.1.7xxx build 7xxx where build 7100 is rc and 7600 is final etc .
I think technically there is no difference between the 30 day Version of cs4 and the full Version, same installer as far as i know.
Kapersky is not good at all - but what is "no good result"?
Try to remove kapersky, install cs4 and put back any AV - if this doesn't change sth , it 's not the Av which causes probs

You can't just turn off Kaspersky - you have to UNINSTALL IT COMPLETELY. Then restart, and try Flash again.

Look for a free antivirus app to replace it (since you're probably stealing Kaspersky too anyway ) such as AVG or Microsoft Security Essentials.

i've installed cs4 with Avira AV turned on , so i guess there is no general AV issue.
Av like Kapersky, Panda, Norton, Bitdefender etc are far too heavy anyway and they will dig themselves deep into the system - that's why i don't like them. Biggest problem is the human part of the chain anyway.
Several progs of the cs4 respond slowly in some sĄtuations - like tracing bitmaps with flash , but this behavior I've seen on different Systems, even very powerful ones and with W7, Vista, xp, don't know about Mac.
So my guess is that it's like this, no matter what Windows Version you have
