I'm trying to get a youtube partnership, by making my own webshow about games, movies, you know the drill. Of these two I only tried Vegas Pro, and it's great although pretty complex for newcomers xD

But recently i've heard about Adobe Premiere, and i've only heard great things about it. It is rather expensive though, which leans me more towards Vegas. But still, i'd like some input on this.

Which of these two professional video editors is better, Adobe Premiere or Sony Vegas Pro (features, ease of use, performance, specs, etc.)?

For YouTube stuff I doubt you will need the additional capabilities of Vegas Pro. I'd suggest Vegas Movie Studio instead. Pro has stuff for multi-camera shoots, compositing, and things associated with big-screen feature films. Plus it is much more expensive than Movie Studio - and Premiere as well.

I personally shy away from all Adobe products (other than Photoshoip Elements) but I have tried all the other video editors and found Vegas to be the most logical and easy to use. I agree it does seem a bit daunting at first, but the inline Help screens are very good and once you learn how to do things it all flows very seamlessly. I'd say check out the free demo of Movie Studio before you make a purchase that is more expensive than your needs.
