    How to uninstall preinstalled software

I just purchased a new computer (HP h9-1180 Phoenix). It has a couple of software programs that I don't want. I normally would go to Control Panel and unistall there. However, the programs I don't want are not listed in the Control Panel.
My next step was to install Revo Uninstaller. Egad! They are not there either.
If I right click on the desktop icon and open file location it shows it as an application. (see atch)
I've posted this subject on HP Forum but nobody there seems to know how to uninstall preloaded software.
I'm at a total loss on how to get rid of this type of software.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, please?

Did a search and found this:

    eBay Link

It may be just that simple: delete the shortcut.

    Thank you for your response.
Looked at the link. Slightly different from what I was trying to uninstall but pretty much the same idea. Typical of anything you buy or download anymore.
I'll just delete the desktop icon and not worry about the registry or other files.

Welcome to Seven Forums khonesavanh. You might see if the PC Decrapifier will find it (and anything else you might not want).

If you're interested in getting rid of all pre-installed bloatware you might consider a Clean Reinstall.
