    How give privileges to installer?

Trying to install 7-zip and I keep getting this alert about not having the proper permissions and I don't know how to handle privileges, and as far as I can tell, I am signed on as the administrator.

    Questions are:
    1. What installer?
    2. Where is it?
    3. How do I give it sufficient privileges?
    4. What directory is being referred to?

    Hello Adam,

You should be able to right click on the 7-Zip installation exe file (installer), and click on Run as administrator to have it run with elevated rights to get the privileges it needs.

    Hope this helps, :)

Actually didn't have a chance to try your suggestion as I did a work around. Loaded 7-zip onto my other networked computer and brought it over to my main computer. But thanks, and I'll probably need to use you suggestion another time.

No problem. I'm happy to hear that you got it sorted. :)
