    Hey ashesthedog,

    Another alternative (easier and better IMO to Wippien, is Hamachi, give it a try! I use it and I don't have the lag problems anymore...however...As for my WLM lag....for me in WLM the lag stopped many months ago, I'm assuming it was due to a Windows Update because I never even thought about it 'til later....I had grown (still annoyed) but accustomed to it by then. It's been working fine for me for months now! Still have no idea what was causing it! In other words, for me anyway, there was probably no connection between Hamachi and the lag at all.

    @Vorlander
    I solved a similar problem I had (with WLM and Chrome too) by disabling automatic settings detection on LAN connection settings in IE:
    !!Solution!! Windows 7 64 bits + Google Chrome = slow typing, slow page load, poor responsivness, etc - Google Chrome Help

    That worked EXACTLY right. Now I have a fully working WLM thanks to you

    Much thanks again

    To all those who read this

    the simple answer is this was fixed in a windows update
    the causes were usually VPN software like hamachi

    There is no need to post anything else here as this post is very old
    Thank You
