What's the best alternative to Google Reader?

It's really the last thing I need before I can start making my move away from Google. I want a online RSS reader that works on my old Blackberry and isn't a sever performance hit on my computer. i did try goodnoows, but it doesn't have a mobile site and it tries to load ALL of my feeds, which is too much.

Hmm... never even heard of half of those, even after searching for a long time.

Yeah, none of those were really great. I'm trying to find something that has google reader's simple but functional user interface, but s completely independent of google reader.

I'm kind of worried that nothing like that exists, and i can't really move away from rss feeds.

I don't really think there is an alternative, that works on bot windows and blackberry while being lightweight, tidy looking, and having cloud read/unread marker sync.

    I finally found one: netvibes.com

To be honest I disregarded it initially because all I saw was the widget view, but I decided to use it as a replacement for iGoogle. Discovered that it has a "reader view" toggle that makes it work exactly like google reader, and it is mobile friendly.

I'm still kicking myself for passing over it every time, but I'm happy with it now.
