Creating installer

Hey there , I'm working to create an installer for my program. Can you guys share what is the best software to create an installer ? I tried to use ClickTeam Create Installer but it says "Error reading unnamed file"

Take a look at NSIS: NSIS Wiki
I have no serious experience with it, but know it's very capable. You have to write a script with the details of the workings of the installer, then compile to get the final .msi file.

The paid versions of Visual Studio also contain an installer project.
