    FastStoneCapture

I've had the free version for years & LOVE IT but since I now have Windows 7, the 'Capture Scrolling Window' doesn't work so a few days ago I installed the new version as a trial but didn't uninstall my old one. The new one doesn't scroll either. Could that be due to still having the old one?? I really want to be able to capture a scrolling window. I'm talking about folders, etc. in my PC, not web pages, if that makes any difference.

    Thanx.

Tried PicPick too, no go. But then again, it might be me not doing something right.

Here's a 'still' capture of what I want to 'scroll' capture. (used FSC for this)

Well, after a quick web search ....... to ME it looks like that feature may be turned off for the free version. Its listed as "shareware" which usually means some features are turned off for the free version. I could be wrong here. Maybe you could ask them, there is a "contact us" tab on their website. Maybe they have changed policies since you last downloaded it.

Yup,I looked at snagit too but trying to exist on $524.00 a month just can't see my way to buy programs although was thinking I could afford the $ of FastStone, that's why I went for the 30 day trial. Maybe I should go ahead & uninstall my 'free' one to see if the 'trial' will then work for scroll capture??

Couldn't hurt as you could always go back.
