    MSI Afterburner


    Hi guys MSI Afterburner is crashing Grand Theft Auto 4 but it works fine with fraps , so how can i get msi to record the game what is the prob. ??

    I would try a clean Install of your nvidia drivers and aftertburner.

    done that didnt work the msi works on other games but it dosnt work on gta maybe of the mods i have in it ? cuz i have ENB mod in the game

    Are you overclocking with Afterburner too, or just recording?

    i cant do none of them since the game crashs b4 it starts

    Understood, I am asking because if you are OCing with afterburner, that can cause issues on some games. So if you are OCing and recording, try not OCing and see if game will run and record. If not we can go from there.


    Also try this, go into the RSST panel and manually add the game's .exe, then go into it's settings and enable compatibility with modified Direct3D runtime libraries

    Hi dude nope am not OCing this is what am doing : open msi then lunch Gta then the game just crashs,msi works fine with Bo2 bf3 c&c.
    also iv installed fraps, playclaw they work fine on Gta just dont get why Msi crashs the game

    I ran out of ideas and started browsing GTA forums. I've read some people were having a punkbuster issue and that caused the crashing. Try to manually update punkbuster.

    lol gta dosnt have punkbuster , i have also looked around no fix for this
