    Uninstalling a program completely

    HI Guys...

I recently uninstalled a program from my computer to install the latest version of that same program but during the installation it keeps telling me that "A previous installation of that program has been found. This installation needs to be removed before you can go on with the new installation.... NB. That i have uninstalled the program. Its not even visible in my Add and Remove list...

Can anyone help me out please....

    Welcome to Seven forums.

Go to C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files (x86) and delete folders with the program's name and re-try the install.
Also use CCleaner and run the registry cleaner function. See the link in my sig, download the free "no thanks" version.

Reinstall the older version. Now use RevoUninstaller (download the free version) to remove that program and then try installing the newer version.

By the way, what's the program you're trying to install?
