    Not getting Java download

Am trying to Java for a program that requires it but it is is either going to net connection problem or it is telling me that some ?.dll is corrupt.

While downloading the Java is giving me the message as in the small snip and am now wondering what is going on.

Could this probably be due to the security suite interfering wit the download - Kaspersky Pure.

Could someone please give me an idea of what to do.

You may have leftover remnants of Java preventing a clean install. Try using the free JavaRa and then see if you can download a fresh copy of Java. You could download and save the installer to your desktop, scan it with your anti-virus, then temporarily turn off the AV during the installation.

anyone else having problems getting to Java website at java.com
    seems the site is down
I have some clients that need java and when trying to do the update 21 it came back "cannot connect to the server for the downloads" or says a dll is corrupted when trying to install"
I went to the site and it does not load, or loads and then crashes out.

Is that for Java or JavaRa John? If Java, what link are you using. What program needs Java?

This is working for me. http://java.com/en/

if you try to get to java.com it gets stuck or bombs out with firefox or ie
If you try to do the update when the orange box comes up it fails to download with a message that a dll is corrupt or it cannot connect to the server
Can you get to java.com and if yes try to do the download and see what you get

    Update Java:
    • Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 7u21.
      Java SE Downloads
    • Scroll over to the right (JRE)
    • Click the "Download" button to the right.
    • Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement".
    • The page will refresh.
    • Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation with or without Multi-language and save to your desktop.
    • Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
    • Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.
    • Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
    • Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
    • Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java versions.
    • Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
    • Then from your desktop double-click on jre-7u21-windows-i586-p.exe to install the newest version.
