Ok it has worked this time we did try that site before but it kept showing corrupt .dll and net disconnect messages.

The Java is needed because I need to get onto an old Army regiment forum and it is required to login, and post - Steve:)

Yep mate we tried for two days and it justs would not pick up but thanks the link you posted has worked.:)

Oh btw java downloads website is working again and when the orange icon pops up. No more error msgs

Yeah, the Java site has been having issues for the past few days. I have experienced it both on my own machine and when trying to update client's machines. I just refreshed every so often and got the page eventually (usually when refreshing right after the load failure). When I did get the page, I downloaded the offline installer and it updated fine.
