Windows Explorer crashes on startup of Windows

Please help! My Windows Explorer crashes (randomly, not each time I open Windows) and i have to restart the laptop to get it started again. I have removed all third-party extensions in web browsers (I use Chrome) and deleted all temporary files. What can I do to fix this?

    Welcome to the Seven Forums.

    Try this scan:
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Boot into Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking and see if the problem still occurs. If not, I'd suspect a driver or other application which is running at startup.

    Hello.
You should follow what UsernameIssues instructed.
Looks like your system is just like mine.
Is your system installed with AVG?
Did this happened after a Windows update?
    Run SFC to check.
Goto cmd run sfc/scannow right click as Admin.

Be prepared to back up all the data files and have Windows 7 installation disc.
