Is there a recommended software to organize my computer documents, etc

Is there something (software) that would act like Evernote and would help me get My Documents and libraries on my Windows 7 computer under control? I have tons of unorganized information on my computer at present. It is very unorganized. It is too large to upload to Evernote.

There must be a good program that would help me organize this, like Evernote does with tags, searching, etc.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you.

Maybe DropIt? I had it installed, but it didn't rock my boat. The automated options seemed too steep for me to learn, while the manual option I'm already doing without a middle manager.

I don't use My Documents or libraries, so I'm not sure if this is correct--create subfolders, sort the unorganized by format and move the different formats into their respective folders. In essence, that's what DropIt does when set up with automated options. Either way, work needs to be done on the front end.

A content-sensitive software might exist in an industrialized version.
