    admin permission at every boot

    Win 7 Ultimate
    ASUS M4A88T-M MOBO

There are 4 programs that ask for admin permission at every boot.
    CPUlevelhookupLaunch.exe
    Asloader.exe
    FourEngine.exe
    UpdateChecker MFC Application

    They are all ASUS programs.

I've had enough. This problem must be taken care of.

    All help appreciated.

Why don't you uncheck them inside msconfig

Click on the button type msconfig inside the Search programs and files and press <Enter> on the keyboard . Once you're on the System Configuration window click on the Startup tab and uncheck those programs from starting up . Click Ok and then click on Exit without Restart and restart manually .

None of them are there. I think they are part of a ASUSTek suite. I'm searching for info on it.

I found a surprise in the attached snip. gpu.exe is used by other programs too.

You don't need any program running during boot except for your Anti-virus .

I boot up without any problems with just these. Every things still runs fine. The only differance is programs don't start a boot but instead when I decide to use them.

I do uncheck some. I will try to enlarge your snip to be able to read it. I'll be really busy for a couple days.

Both read well with my system but no two systems are the same. You could use the built in magnifier Window 7 has.

To make it easier the top picture has one check mark and the bottom picture has three check marks.
