Updating Drivers

Another forum I go to posted this program.

I tried it and unlike all the other programs that tell you that you have 400 drivers out of date and want you to pay, this one only found 3 and immediately updated them.

Completely free.

Hi PSCO2007 You would be better off not using any auto update applications, (just my opinion) have your Windows set for updates and most programs will tell you of a new version. Only download driver updates from the manufacturers web site.

We're not talking about anything to do with Windows Updates.
This program just updates program drivers.

Before I let it update anything, I went to the mfr's websites to see if anything needed updating.

I then let it update and returned to the mfr's site and it now showed current.

This program is downloading from the mfr's website.

PSCO2007, Stephanie is right. Programs like that can throw drivers at you you do not need. If you go to the manufacture and it list a new driver then you can update if you want.

Drivers are often released to fix problems, read the release notes on one to see. If you are not having problems, then do not update...The old saying "If it aint broke don't fix it.

Hi there .... Good advice from the above posts .... I would tend to agree with them .... How ever this being a Beta version it is some what lacking in functions there is no backup ..... So do you have the option still to roll back Drivers ?

Don't know ,but since it is being downloaded from Mfr's site and the program is running well, I don't see the problem.

Drivers Not Updating
I need to update all my drivers. I have tried to do it the traditional way through the control panel but my drivers claim to not need updating. Is there another fix? I would prefer not to download driver update software that requires me to pay them for updating my drivers. Thanks in advance....
