    Error to update directx


    hi i'm new in this forum and i hope can help me, thanks :)

    I have been trying to update my directX with all installers posibles and i always get this error: An internal system error occurred. Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your Windows folder to determine problem.

    I already tried that installer and this Download DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer from Official Microsoft Download Center but I get the same error

    Try to use a restore point prior to the problem, if not try running SFC Scannow, at least three times

    SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker


    If that doesn't help, try a repair install

I updated my Windows 7 64bit nuild 7100 with the web installer and got Aug 2009 update. then I rebooted and my computer wouldn't POST. I had the clear CMOS. Anyone know wtf that was? :shock:
Just to give everyone a heads up. A new updater for Direct X is available. 9.27.1734 - 9/11/09 I check for updates once a month. Even on 7. So everyone should update :D Even though windows 7 has DX11, you should always update the direct x. Older games still require these updates. I see alot of...
