    I've been trying to get it from him but his fingers are like steel vices on the disc. Bugger won't let go.

    not running any antivirus software, and I have turned the firwall off for the moment.
    You have a wireless card with a Ralink RT61 chipset. There's very little you can do. If you're tight with Microsoft, have them blackball Ralink from WHQL until this is fixed ;-)

    has anyone found a solution? the bsod's seem to be completely random. at times i can download for a couple of days no problem, then all of a sudden every time i try to download it freezes up instantly

    annoying to say the least
