What would be a good weather program?

When I used Mac I liked the fact that there was something that showed the Weather with a click of the button (I think it was the dashboard?) Is there a way to do something like that with Windows?

In Win7 rightclick a blank area of desktop, select Gadgets, drag the Weather gadget onto the Desktop, in Tools select your Zip Code, expand it to show 3 day forecast. If you want more detail click on the day. Perfect.

I also use the calendar, and Sticky Note in the Start Menu. No other versions of these are as stable.

If this is for Win8 (you are at Win7 Forums) then you can get replica gadgets at 8GadgetPack - Gadgets for Windows 8

    Hi there
IMO this sort of App is exactly right for a MOBILE phone (which about 95% of the population in developed countries have these days). It also has the added bonus of course that on a Mobile phone it can sense your location (Geolocation) and always give you the weather wherever you happen to be -- configurable too if you don't want to use the geolocation process automatically.

Very minor niggle on the free version -- tiny advert bar sometimes appears on the bottom of the screen -- but it's tiny and not obtrusive as well.

Use the Google play store to download for Android. There's probably similar for iPhones.

I'm sorry OP but IMO these are EXACTLY the sort of apps that belong on phones / tablets --not really on PC's -- but I understand everybody's taste is different.

I see somebody mentioned Accuweather for Windows 8 -- haven't tried it yet but if it's like the version for Android then that would be fine but again why would you want it on a COMPUTER. !!

    Cheers
