I click the program, but nothing happens

Recently my iTunes and also my Playstation Media Server have stopped working completely. I'm not sure if anyone is familiar with PlayStation Media Server or not but its worth a shot. Both simultaneously (at least it seems so) have stopped opening. Ill double click the icon and the little cursor loading circle will spin for a second but nothing happens. Checked task manager and nothing there. I've uninstalled both multiple times with no success. No error messages or anything, just unresponsive. Running Windows 7 64bit. Any help will be appreciated.

    Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

To avoid a lot of Q & A about your hardware and OS configuration, please click on this link to

    Edit System Specs

Filling this out, at least partially, will save a lot of time. Another advantage is when posting a new problem, the person answering can just click the My System Specs link in the bottom of your post. No need to search for the information.

If you have multiple systems just indicate that in the System Specs so that we know why many of the fields are blank.

Sorry layback bear, thats the only way I knew to view all that information. Ive filled it out with everything that little program told me. And yes, the black screen was fixed and hasn't reoccurred. But the updating thing happens every couple of months and I'm starting to get impatient with Windows 7. I've gone back and done what was instructed in that post but it always seems to come back, so recently I've just left it alone.

Thank you for filling in your specs. It might help bring in some more helpers.
    I'm no play station person.
Let try something that might help but will not hurt. Unplug every thing from the computer except the mouse and keyboard. Then use this Tutorial from Brink.
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Do you have all Windows 7 Up Dates including SP-1 installed?

In my opinion, it seems to be more of a Windows problem at the moment, I believe Windows is not starting the process for some reason.

Layback, I followed the tutorial you posted. I ran the scan three times as suggested but it still said some files could not be fixed. So then i ran the System Update Readiness Tool and ran the scan again, which still showed that some files could not be fixed. Considering I do not want to lose some important files, I decided to not go back to a System Restore point. I tried the option three which posted a file on my desktop, I uploaded the txt file since it was too large to post.
I click the program, but nothing happens Attached Files
