    Hi SIW2

Sorry to bother you again. I would like to clarify some more doubts about the "NT6Autorepair" tool.

What is the purpose of FIX OS DIVE LETTER option ?.

In AUTO BOOT REPAIR , may i need to put a tick mark on Tick for uefi/Bios tick box when repairing UEFI/GPT boot ?.

    Yes

What is the purpose of FIX OS DIVE LETTER option ?.

The fix os drive letter is for when windows won't boot coz of what Greg calls drive letter slippage. Sometimes happens after restore/clone, etc. Just point at the windows partition using the dropdown and click fix.It makes sure the windows you point it at knows which device it is on. That is crucial. Windows needs to know where it is.

a small query.does this tool requires install of 64bit version of software only or even a 32bit version is accepted when there is a 64bit version of same program available(e.g.paragon Backup & Recovery 2014 Free has both)?great tool though.i hope you get the time to release a 32bit version too.

The program is the same as far as I can tell. The version which also supports Vista and XP uses a linux recovery iso , because you can't create winpe on either of those two easily.

    Hi SIW2,
let me tell you the story of my painful experiences:
My System a German Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit on LG Notebook S510

    1.Try
Login as Standard User but start PE7x64v11.CMD as Admin
Base DVD Windows 7 Enterprise German 64-Bit
    Resulting ISO only ~ 100MB - Didn't boot

    2.Try
Login as administrative User start PE7x64v11
Base DVD Windows 7 Enterprise German 64-Bit
    Resulting ISO ~ 300MB - Didn't Boot BSOD

    3.Try
Same as 2.Try only Base DVD changed Windows 7 Ultimate German 64-Bit - BSOD
(just in case the Enterprise DVD is somewhat disheveled)

    4.Try
Same as 3.Try only Base DVD changed Windows 7 Ultimate English 64-Bit - Booted successfully

I saw no error messages during the build with german based DVD's.
Is there some more Information i can send ?

    Greetings from Germany

esowiki, SIW2 is an extremely talented and brilliant person. Because of that he is also extremely busy and has numerous things going on in his life, this is probably one of the least important. Using his many talents and kind heart he built a program to try to help all of us. It has worked for many of us, including you. Just not exactly the way you wanted it to work. Was he paid to do this? The answer is no, he did it out of the kindness of his heart, just as he has built many other programs to help us. I suggest he helps us as he has time and owes neither you or I anything. I am very sorry his free gift and attempt to help us did not work the way you wanted it to. That being said, I think arrogant comments such as "Thanks for nothing" are completely out of place and you need to reconsider your attitude. Comments such as that do not encourage SIW2 or anyone else to go out of their way and spend great amounts of time and talent to develop programs that many of us find extremely useful and helpful. Instead, I think he should be thanked for his efforts. I know I certainly do.
