    Thanks for that Flash info.

I asked about potential USB problems, as the TAFE I go to was overrun by some Java-based infection, for at least two weeks!

It used the AutoPlay function to spread to student's media (surprise, surprise).
The Government W7 image has AutoPlay enabled for some idiotic reason.

Since the Government IT section took over the TAFE network, it has been a total joke (The Networking lecturers used to run it).

I am not sure precisely what TAFE is. In the UK there used to be a sensible system of Universities for academic subjects , and also polytechnics. The difference was somewhat vague, tho Uni was regarded as a sort of higher level.

It would make more sense to have a system of Uni for academic stuff and something else called perhaps Poltytechnic for anyone who wanted to do practical/technical stuff ( like plumbing, etc ).

Not much point in having half the country with degrees in media studies, on zero hour contracts in call centres.

    Sorry.

TAFE = Technical And Further Education

TAFE is supposed to be employer oriented training (i.e. the training employers claim they want people to have).

Seems a reasonable idea. In practice it is probably rather different.

    Hi SIW2

Definitely give a try to this project once i got a "Windows 7 x64" installation media. Do you have any plan to release a 'Win 8 PE" builder ?.

I got win8 pe working great. No point in that as win 8 is dead now.

8.1 is a real challenge due to the metro interferences. I have got something working mostly ok for 8.1 , but it requires StartIsBack. StartIsBack - real start menu for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1

    Hi

I already have a legitimate copy of "Windows 8.1" and i am ready to purchase "Startisback" if you can kindly make a PE builder for 'Win 8.1". A "Win 8.1 PE Maker" which require the "StartisBck" files to be provided by the user will be fine, i think. Currently "Win8" and "Win8.1" are the only one capable of booting without disabling "Secureboot".

Thanks for sharing all your hard work, especially the "Paragon PE maker" which is simply amazing.

    Hi SIW2

Finally got the time to play with your project. Worked out of the box in the first try. When compared to other similar projects like "Make PE3" by "Wimb" , it is lightweight, user friendly and easy to customize.

I added "HDTunePro" and "Passmark DiskCheckUp" and also removed arrows from shortcuts. I have a copy of "Paragon HDM suit 2014" (not the pro version) which didn't seems to be added by the builders o i added it manually. Everything seems to be working fine. Many thanks .
