One tool that I regularly use when family or friends complain about depleted hard drive space is WinDirStat - Windows Directory Statistics. It tells you where and what is taking up said space. Worked countless times for me. The portable version is available here: WinDirStat Portable | PortableApps.com - Portable software for USB, portable and cloud drives

I prefer Space Sniffer, which also happens to be portable

SpaceSniffer, find lost disk space the easy way.

Seems like a neat alternative. I personally didn't like the GUI though. On the other hand, it's natively portable so I'm definitely adding this to my set of tools. Thanks for the tip

I think it's relatively easy to find what's taking up space in an HD, but i do have a NirSoft tool (I think, maybe it's another suite) that does the same as those

"ABC iView - In Google we Trust"

ABC iView is streamed. Not a download.
My URL is correct -- it works
Sorry cannot help from this end, until tomorrow (Monday)
I sent an email to ABC here in Australia on Sunday night.
    Monday 5:00pm
Not a murmur out of them.
National government TV/radio network. Excellent programs ... but everything moves at reptilian pace.

If I hear anything I will report back here.

"ABC iView - In Google we trust" ... update

Just had a long winded email back from (Australian) ABC.

       Note

I am sorry to say this program cannot be watched on iView outside Australia. iView is geo-blocked, which means that you cannot access the programs from overseas. This is due to programming rights management, which prevent us from making this content available in markets other than Australia. Please be assured that your comments have been noted and made available to the iView team. I am sorry that I do not have better news for you on this occasion.

The transcript for the program Four Corners : In Google We Trust is available here http://www.abc.net.au/4corners/stories/2013/09/09/3842009.htm .

    ... SOME GOOD NEWS ...
The "4corners" link * includes the video * (not iView). Running time 43mins is correct. It might (or not) work outside OZ (ie, Australia)
At the bottom of the page is [Show Transcript]

If any problems opening the transcript, get back to me and I will upload a file.
File type preferences appreciated (txt, doc, pdf ?)
