Looking for apps for Win 7 similar to News and Sports app in Win 8

Hey all, so I had a chance to play with Windows 8 today for a few hours at my fathers place.
To say the least I instantly fell in love with the News and the Sports app. While I do plan to upgrade to windows 8 eventually, it wont happen anytime soon and im looking for similar apps as those News and Sports apps for Windows 7.

Does anyone have any experience with such apps or suggestions?

Then decided to reinstall Win7 as a guest on the Win7 host OS, to see how well the new USB connectivity worked, and also to see whether now...
